The Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery

Bespoke systems

JBJS produce the British version of the Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery - an orthopaedics medical journal.

  • We have been working with JBJS since 1995.
  • We have built an internal workflow system to support their submission, review and production processes. The system has grown significantly over the years and is written in MS Access with a SQL Server backend.
  • More recent enhancements have been the implementation of an extranet, written in ASP.NET (VB), for reviewers and authors to track the progress of paper submissions.
