Bespoke systems

Meggitt are a manufacturing company based in Basingstoke in , Hampshire, producing parts for the civilian and military aerospace industry. We have delivered a number of internal systems for the Quality department.

FRACAS

We produced a Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action system to fulfil Meggitt’s legal obligations.

• Workflow system with department and/or individual notification of assignments.
• Written in MS Access with a SQL Server backend.
• Interfaces with internal MRP system.

Internal Audit Tracking System

We produced a system to track all internal/external audit failures.

Goods Inward Database

• We produced a system for ‘Goods Inward’ to track the receipt of all parts brought into the company’s stores. Utilising standard rules the system prompts users to carry out spot checks depending on the reliability of previous receipts from the same supplier.
• Factory Delivery Note (FDN) and Serialand Serial Nos database
• We have produced a new system that manages the generation and allocation of serial numbers for all parts produced in Basingstoke. The system also allows users to setup Works Orders and link individual parts to the Works Order and subsequent delivery to the customer.
