Sadly, Silverjet ceased operations on the 30 May this year, but we remain very proud our work together.
Having worked with Silverjet since May 2006, we grew a very successful working relationship and became their outsourced IT department. This involved launching their website, selecting and integrating the booking engine, setting the internal IT infrastructure and other internal office systems.
Internal IT Infrastructure
- Designed and setup internal IT infrastructure, including file servers, email, intranet and numerous other applications.
- Now managed by an internal IT department.
Website
Working with two of Silverjet's key partners, we delivered a fully bookable website suitable for a plc within 3 months.
- Designed technical architecture for website.
- Created a bespoke CMS for Silverjet to manage all their content, including press releases and available jobs.
- Worked with design agency to turn flat file images into HTML pages and plugged in all dynamic functionality.
- Integrated third party booking engine and other third party functionality.
- Developed and integrated country-specific dynamic content and promotions functionality.
- Website and CMS built in ASP.NET (C#) with SQL Server backend.
- Fast turnover for a constantly changing site.
Cargo Website

Developed the website for Silverjet's cargo business.
External Interfaces
- Created XML interfaces for multiple 3rd party flight aggregators and search engines.
Automated Internal Reporting
- Created internal MIS database sitting alongside main booking database.
- Developed over 40 MIS reports distributed internally automatically or manually.
- Developed reports in Crystal Reports XI. Managed reports delivery using Opalis Integration Server.
Intranet
- Collated requirements and designed intranet.
- Constructed using DotNetNuke .
- Integrated MIS reporting into intranet with user-specific access rights.
