  • Client:
    Silverjet
  • Industry:
    Travel
  • Description:

Formed in 2006, Silverjet was a business class only airline, initially flying between London and New York and focussed on providing exceptional service for a fraction of the normal cost of business class fares. Sadly Silverjet ceased operations in 2008.

    Username: silverjetdemo
    Password: S1lverdemo

  • Description:

Altitude started work on the award winning website pretty much from the day that Silverjet floated on the AIM Stock Market in London.

We designed the overall technical architecture for both the business and the website and we developed the 100+ page, functionally rich website in less the 4 months.

The site was built in ASP.NET (C#) and integrated with a 3rd booking booking engine with single sign-on functionality. Altitude also developed a custom workflow-based Content Management System to allow Silverjet staff to manage the site content.

The website won Best Airline Website at the Travolution awards in 2007 and Best Airline Website in the 2008 Travelmole awards.

  • Project:
    Data Warehouse and Management Reporting
  • Year:
    2006 - 2008
  • Technologies:
Opalis Integration Server, Crystal Reports, SQL Server
  • Description:

Using the 3rd party booking database as the primary source, Altitude created a data warehouse for Silverjet. From this database, a large number of KPI reports were created and sent automatically on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to the business.

Given the complexity of the distribution, Opalis Integration Server was used to manage the whole automation process.

  • Project:
    Intranet
  • Year:
    2007
  • Technologies:
    Dot Net Nuke
  • Description:

To provide a company-wide communication platform, Altitude created an Intranet using Dot Net Nuke. Apart from departmental communications, the Intranet also allowed login controlled access to the reports which could be generated on demand and either viewed online or sent by email.
